New Features: Employee Goals and Personal Notes Dashboard

Our latest BLOOM feature brings some updates to the Employee Goals section and a new Notes dashboard area.

EMPLOYEE GOALS

ADD YOUR OWN GOAL: BLOOM users with Manager or Executive level access can now add edit/add/delete their own Employee Goals.

MARK GOAL NOTES AS READ

We have had the ability to add goal notes, but it sure you would be nice to know if you actually read the note. Now you can simply click the MARK NOTE AS READ LINK under the Goal note. This lets you and your manager know that you are paying attention to the goal.

ONE STOP NOTE SHOPPING

Now that you can mark a goal note and a performance log note as read, BLOOM makes it easy for you to see those new notes rise to the surface so you can read/mark them off!

BLOOM DASHBOARD

If you have any outstanding notes, you will see them on the dashboard.u will also see the same results on the MYSELF homepage, as well as a link on the top called UNREAD NOTES.

When you click on the above links, it brings you to a personal note center where all your undread notes are in one spot. Simply click the MARK NOTE AS READ link to update!

BLOOM Q & A: New Employee Introductory Review

When I enter a new employee, is it automatically set up to schedule a review after 90 days?

Yes – This is a system wide setting that auto generates an Introductory Review for 90 days after the start date for the manager to review the new hire.

If for some reason you do not want to use this “Introductory” review, you can always change the review type from Introductory to either Merit or Performance and then push the date out to whenever you want.

NEW SERVER!

With all the growth we have been experiencing, it was time to upgrade our web servers! Thank you for your support!

PERFORMANCE LOGS

A user suggested it would be great to see if a manager had posted a performance log and if the employee could see it on their dashboard, and then tell BLOOM that they have read it. Problem solved.

STEP 1:

Manager inputs a new performance log.

STEP 2:

Your dashboard will show a note saying you have X New Logs that are unread.

Step 3:

After you click on the X New logs link, you will see your log overview page – from here you can easily mark the log as read and it will no longer show up on your dashboard!

BLOOM offline for Server Upgrade – July 3rd, 2009

As we continue to grow, we needed to upgrade our web server systems. Since most businesses will be closed for the holiday weekend, we will be doing major hardware upgrades to BLOOM.

BLOOM will be offline for hardware upgrades on Friday, July 3rd, 2009 at 6 AM.

We will be back online same day, and will be 100% ready to roll for your use on Monday July 6th.

New Server Testing almost complete!

BLOOM is growing and we thought it best to move up to bigger server sooner than later!

We are in the final stages of testing out our new server. We will be migrating BLOOM the week of 4th of July.
